Keep in mind that to be compostable it needs to be in the right environment, so tossing a compostable bag (even if it is made of more environmentally friendly materials) might not break down in a landfill. These treats use crickets as their main source of protein. Crickets are not only more environmentally friendly than traditional proteins like beef and chicken, they carry fewer pathogens, are hypoallergenic, and live out most of their natural lifespan before being humanely harvested.

I will make a caveat, though. I do love these gloves, but my dog is 15 pounds. Anyone with a dog much bigger than that may have a hard time using these.
